By Sea
From Le Havre - It is 290 miles to Mouilleron en Pareds and takes around 5 hours of drive time. The route is pretty much all motorway. When you leave the port, head for the A131 to Pont de Tancarville. After crossing the bridge, join the A13 heading towards Rouen. Then head south on the A28 to Le Mans, passing Alencon. At Le Mans, take the A11 to Angers. Then head for the A87 to pass Cholet. Pickup the A83 to Chantonnay - you can take this or earlier junctions to get there. Once in Chantonnay, follow signs for the D949 to La Chataigneraie - Mouilleron en Pareds is just off the D949 about half way between Chantonnay and La Chataigneraie.The route within Google maps

From Caen -It is 369 km to Mouilleron en Pareds (about 4 hours drive time). From the port, follow signs for the A88 towards Alencon/Le Mans. Take the exit onto the A28. At Le Mans, take the A11 to Angers. Take exit 14 onto the A87, passing Cholet. Follow signs for Chantonnay. Once in Chantonnay, follow signs for the D949 to La Chataigneraie - Mouilleron en Pareds is just off the D949 about half way between Chantonnay and La Chataigneraie.The route within Google maps

From Saint Malo - Mouilleron en Pareds is 170 miles (about 3 hours 30 mins drive time). From the ferry port follow signs to the N137 (Nantes). Once on the N137 it is pretty much a straight road (merging with the E03) for 120 miles. Take the Essarts (Les)/Herbiers (Les) exit (5). At the roundabout, take the third exit onto the D160 heading to N160/Angers/Cholet/Sainte-Florence/Les Herbiers.
Turn right at the D137 staying on this for approximately 10 miles, and then take the ramp onto the D949. This road will take you to Mouilleron en Pareds. The route within Google maps

From Calais -Mouilleron en Pareds is 629km (about 6 hours 15 mins drive time). From the ferry port follow signs for the A16 towards Rouen. Take exit 23 to merge onto the A28 towards Rouen. Continue on N28 signed for Rouen. Head for the A13 towards Le Mans. Exit onto the A13 and then exit onto the A28 to Le Mans. At Le Mans, take the A11 to Angers. Take exit 14 onto the A87, passing Cholet. Follow signs for Chantonnay. Once in Chantonnay, follow signs for the D949 to La Chataigneraie - Mouilleron en Pareds is just off the D949 about half way between Chantonnay and La Chataigneraie.The route within Google maps

By Air
From Nantes - It is approximately 1 hour 15 mins drive time (55 miles) to Mouilleron en Pareds from Nantes airport. From the airport get onto the A83/E03. After 30 miles take the Essarts (Les)/Herbiers (Les) exit (5). At the roundabout, take the third exit onto the D160 heading to N160/Angers/Cholet/Sainte-Florence/Les Herbiers.Turn right at the D137 staying on this for approximately 10 miles, and then take the ramp onto the D949. This road will take you to Mouilleron en Pareds. See the end paragraph and enclosed map for directions to the house once in Mouilleron en Pareds.

Once in Mouilleron en Pareds
Regardless from which direction you have travelled, you will reach Mouilleron en Pareds via the D949 (Rue Nationale). You should follow signs for the town centre (Centre Ville), turning right opposite the Fleury-Michon factory. At the crossroad, turn left down Rue Clemenceau (one way street), passing the village square on your right and church on your left. Follow the road round to the left immediately after church, taking care to give way to cars approaching from the right. Take your first right into Rue de la Fontaine. Continue for approximately 200 yards, passing the school on your right. Sans Souci is house number 9, situated on your left hand side, adjacent to the Lavoir.
